Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University Signs MOU for Collaborative Research to Develop Community in Wanorn Niwas and Akat Amnuai Districts, Sakon Nakhon Province
On September 29-30, 2023, the Research Unit of Social Enterprise Development for Local (SE-DL) at the Research and Development Institute of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Uthumphon Luadkho, head of the research unit and project, along with committee members including Dr. Danainat Jirawatthanasakool, Lecturer Kanamphorn Pesri, Lecturer Wiphawee Buaphan, Lecturer Sirilak Jirawatthanasakool from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Dr. Natthaporn Jirajirawatthanasakool from the Faculty of Science and Technology, Lecturer Kirkkai Parinyapol from the Faculty of Management Science, and Ms. Rajitra Kanyabut, a master’s student in Development Strategy at Udon Thani Rajabhat University, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with local agencies in Wanorn Niwas and Akat Amnuai districts.
This collaboration aims to drive the research project titled “Developing Cultural Capital of Indigo Dyeing Weaving Groups to Enhance Creative Economy,” supported by funding from the Office of the Promotion of Science, Research and Innovation (OSIR). The project addresses local issues through Area-Based Development, fostering learning processes for joint problem-solving with local communities through participatory research. It aims to enhance the capacity of communities to sustainably address economic, social, and environmental challenges, while also developing academic networks, research collaborations, and academic services with relevant agencies in the target areas.
