“On May 27, 2024, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, represented by Associate Professor Chakrit Chanchitprecha, Acting President, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on academic development in collaboration with government agencies responsible for community development. These agencies include the Sakon Nakhon Provincial Community Development Office, the Sakon Nakhon Provincial Protection Center for the Homeless, the Sakon Nakhon Provincial Social Development and Human Security Office, the Sakon Nakhon Provincial Child and Family Shelter, the Sakon Nakhon Provincial Cultural Office, the Sakon Nakhon Provincial Tourism and Sports Office, the Sakon Nakhon Provincial Industry Office, and the Sakon Nakhon Provincial Commerce Office. The signing ceremony took place at Saratchan Conference Room, 2nd floor, Building 10. This collaboration aims to enhance teaching and learning processes to better meet learners’ needs. It includes cooperation in research, academic services, training, and graduate production in the Community Development program. The program incorporates cooperative education and work-integrated learning for students to gain practical professional experience in community development. The partnership is intended to produce positive outcomes for both the university’s mission and the community development responsibilities of the partner agencies, enhance personnel capacity on both sides, and facilitate resource and knowledge sharing for mutual benefit.”
