The DSS Center conducted a university admissions guidance activity for students with disabilities.

From March 1-3, 2023, the Disability Support Services Center (DSS) of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University organized a series of orientation activities for students with disabilities at various special education schools. These schools included Roi Et School for the Deaf, Udon Thani School for the Deaf, and Mukdahan School for the Deaf.

The event, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sombun Chaochaikhong, the Vice Rector, along with the university’s administration and staff, focused on preparing high school students for further education at the bachelor’s degree level. They introduced the 2023 academic year curriculum for deaf students, provided information about degree programs that accept students with disabilities, and explained the special teaching methods and accommodations available at the university. The activity also aimed to assess the demand for higher education among students with disabilities to plan for future enrollment and ensure their access to appropriate support and services.
