The Institute of Language, Arts, and Culture organized an event to showcase artistic innovations in cultural performing arts and a special occasion commemorating the “185th Anniversary of Sakon Nakhon Province.”

On August 10, 2023, the Institute of Language, Arts, and Culture at Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University held an event to promote artistic innovations in tradition performing arts and to celebrate the special occasion of the “185th Anniversary of Sakon Nakhon” at Wat Phra That Cheng Chum Worawihan in Mueang District, Sakon Nakhon Province. Associate Professor Ratthapol Ritthatham, the Deputy President, presided over the event opening ceremony, and was welcomed by Dr. Pasutha Komolmalai, the director of the institute. The event coincided with the 185th anniversary celebration of Sakon Nakhon.

The event included the presentation of artistic innovations, specifically the “Sakon Nakhon Dance to Honor the Spirits,” involving four participating institutes: Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, Sakon Raj Wittayanukoon School, Wanorn Niwas Secondary School, and Municipal Secondary School 3 “Yutthakham Witthaya,” along with Thatu Narai Witthaya School. Esteemed experts in performing arts participated in critiquing the works and providing guidance for further development.
