Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University (SNRU) is situated on a total area of 1,018,416 square meters. The university is committed to maintaining a green and sustainable environment, with a significant portion of its land dedicated to vegetation and forested areas. The total vegetated area on campus is 322,996 square meters, which accounts for 31.72% of the total campus area. This is broken down into two main categories: Planted vegetation, which covers 93,853 square meters (9.22% of the total area), and includes cultivated green spaces such as lawns, gardens, and agricultural plots. Forest Area: This covers 229,143 square meters (22.50% of the total area). These areas primarily consist of dense, clustered forests. Notably, parts of this forested land are officially designated as conservation zones to preserve the university’s natural resources and biodiversity.
